SHOCK TO BRIDAL PARTY. "bridegroom found drowned |Bt Electric Telegraph—Copyright! [United Fresh Association.] (Received 9.15 a.m.) Melbourne, July 6. A bridal party at Fitzroy was awaiting the arrival of the bridgroom, Herbert Wardley, when the police reported that the body had been found in the sea at St. Hilda. / Deceased made all arrangements for the wedding a couple of days previously.

At his lodgings his wedding clothes were laid out, and on a Xmas, card he had made out 'his will, leaving all his money to his fiancee. There is nothing to show how the body got into the water. Wardley was in good spirits when last seen.
