THE TIDES. High water at New Plymouth today 4.5 a.m. and 4.47 p.m. THE SUN. Rises to-morrow 7.21. Sets to-day 4.39, to-morrow 4.39. . EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Rarawa, from North, Friday. Kini, from North, Saturday. Rarawa, from North, Tuesday. Mapourika, from South, Thursday. The Mapourika arrived from Wellington yesterday morning with 120 tons of general cargo and three passengers for this port. She sailed at 5.15 p.m. for Westport. The Taviuni, from southern ports, arrived shortly after three o’clock yesterday afternoon with 550 tons of general cargo. Discharging opera- ! tions were continued throughout last j night, and it was hoped to despatch j the vessel for the West Coast at an j early hour hi* morning. The Kina is expected to leave Onehunga his morning for New Plymouth with the balance of her cargo of coal amounting to 475 tons.
