HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. [Pee Peess Association.] Wellington, June 29. The HiglnCommissioner’s cable, dated June 27th, states, inter alia:— Butter.—The market is steady. Danish (steady) 116 s to 118 s, New Zealand (prices nominal) 110 s to 114 s, Australian (slow demand) 100 s to 104 s, Irish (firm .but quiet) 108 s to 110 s, Siberian (steady) 98s to 102 s. . Cheese.—The market is slightly weaker with less demand. Canadian new make (slow trade) white 62s to 635, colored 63s 6d. New Zealand (dull) white 62s 6d to 63s 6d, colored 63s 6d to 64s 6d. English Cheddar (market steady) new make 68s to 725, fine 62s to 665. Wool.—The market is very firm with a large demand for the better grades for America. The prospects are favorable.
