BRITISH V. FOREIGN TOBACCO. (Received 8.40 a.m.) , ; r v London, June 28. The Hon. E. S. Montague, in reply to a deputation, promised to support an export allowance on British and Irish tobaccos to enable them to compete with the foreign-grown article, which is not saddled by excise restrictions.
