Miss Juue Wood, a music hall actress, is suing Sandow, the wellknown physical culturist, for damages for libel in printing her portrait Jia an advertisement illustrating Sandow’s corsets. Plaintiff gave evidence that she was photographed with a view to the publication sa a newspaper as a celebrity, not as a corsetmodel. She said Sandow paid the photographer four guineas for the copy. She never wore Sandow corsets. •
