POOR WANCANUI! IP>K Pbeis Association. 1 Wanganui, June 25. With reference to the New Zealand Rugby Union's statement re Wanganui's complaints of the North Island selection, the local union explains that it didn't suggest to the New Zealand Union to interfere with the selectors. The letter stated that the union strongly resent selectors accepting the office if they were not prepared to make .themselves acquainted with the various players throughout the Island. If not, it was simply an insult to ask the local selectors to nominate players for consideration: and they point out that all players in the north were, from Auckland, Taranaki and Wellington, notwithstanding the Union's denial.
