At a. meeting of the llestoi'ation League.to-day the new licensing legislation was discussed, when it was resolved that the period between the carrying of prohibition and giving effect thereto be extended to seven years, and that the majority to carry no-license or National prohibition be not reduced below 60 per cent of the rotes polled. Jnyorcargill, June 19. The German cargo steamer Linden, from Amsterdam, arrived at the Bluff to-day after an uneventful passage of 16 days. Her cargo consists of two thousand tons of superphosphate for this port, twelve hundred tons for Lyttelton, and twelve hunftred for Auckland.
