HAWKE'S BAY SECOND DAY. £Pmb Pbem AJasootiTioN.J Hastings, June 18. The Hawke's Bay winter meeting is being concluded to-day in dull but fine weather. The course is in good order, and the attendance is large. Results: — Kidnappers Hurdles, of 100 sovs; U miles.-Grey King 1, Sunbeam 2, Glen Nevis 3. Scratched: Bracken, Sir Donald, Rock Ferry. A good race. Won by eight lengths, half a length between second and third. Time, 2min 48sec. . Havelock Steeples, of 120 sovs; about two milesMStroller 1, Lady Bibero 2, Defeat 3. All started •Stroller led for a mile and a halt, winning by 100 yards, the same distance between second and thir. Jessamine was the only other to finish. Time, 4min 32sec. Turamoe Hiirdjes, of 200 sovs; 13 miles.-Hatana 1, Golden Wstcr 2, Idealism 3. All started. Won by three lengths; half a length between second and third. Mescal fell, fmie 3min 17 2-ssec. Necklace, /of 65sovs., H *&*>- Banian 1, Settler 2, Bransfield 3. Scratched: Tetikura. A good race. Won by one and a half lengths, six lengths between second and third.
