Referring to the cable concerning the appointment of two trade commissioners on behalf of the German Association for World Commerce, the German Consul-General states that such an association does not exist. The German Government were unable to grant a subsidy for advertising purposes without the consent of the Reichstag, in which case he would haav had a cable.
