In a long article on “How to Beat the New Zealand Rugby Teqip,” a writer in the* Telegraph says: There are no Seelings, no Carsons, and no Paqljngs with the team that is coining, but there will fie spiqe wbo will dp thejr best to emulate these herpqs. A point to renumber is that the New South Wales, Queensland, or Australian vanguard must mskq pp thejr minjs, that in a fast, dashing, tearing, runaway game, they are going to he in at the death. If this is done, and tfie men have the condition to last out the game, the New Zealand phalanx, with all its glories, may be outshone hy an Australian forward renaissance.
