HAWKE’S BAY RESULTS. [Per Press Association.J , Hastings, June 17. The Hawke’s Bay J.C. winter meeting opened in line weather. The course ’is in good order, and the attendance large. Results: — Woodlands Hack Steeple, of 120 sovs; about two miles.—Daylight Bill 1, Passive 2, Mollington 3, Scratched: Timothy and Tyrannic. Won by a length. Time, 4min 22 2-ssec. Ladies’ Bracelet, of 100 sovS; one mile and a-half.—Banian 1, Byron 2, Settler 3. Scratched: Bransfield. Banian led all the way and won by half a length, four lengths between second and third horse. Time, 2min 43sec. Hawke’s Bay Hurdles, of 300 sovs; two miles.—Aruako 1, Cloudy Dawn 2, Idealism 3. All started. The winner led all the way. Won by a length, the third horse three lengths behind. Time, 3min 58sec. Hawke’s Bay Steeples, of SOOsovs., three miles.—Exotic 1, The Spaniard 2, Gondolier 3. Scratched: Kauroa. Won by a neck, the third horse ten lengths behind. Peary, Waterworks, The Chief and Sastle Canter fell. Sir Lethe ran off and Kaiapetipeti pulled up: Time 6rnin 24 3-ssec.
