Paddon lias accepted the hospitality of the West End Amateur Rowing Association, whose boathouse is located at Hammersmith. The delivery of boats has been delayed. Paddon commences rowing to-morrow. RIFLE SHOOTING. CALEDONIAN SHIELD. (Received 1.15 p.m.) London, June 15. A hundred and twenty-two competitors entered for the Caledonian Rifle Shooting Shield. McAllister (ninetysix), and Harris (ninety-six) were m the final forty. McCue (Melbourne), who is holiday-making in Scotland, got third place with ninety-nine, the top scorer being 101. Halliday (ninetytwo) is also in the prize list. OLYMPIC CAMES. WOMEN TO PARTICIPATE. (Received 1.15 p.m.) Paris,; June 15. At the International Olympic Conference Messrs Hack, Williams, Southwell, Kidston and Inglis represent Australia. The conference resolved that women be alloAved to partake in the games and that each country be allowed to fix the minimum age of its representatives.
