Onehunga telegraphed last night that the Rarawa was harbound, but expects to cross the bar at 6 o’clock (this morning. The schooney Eric is now loading at Puget Sound for New Plymouth. The Eric, which is under charter to J. C. Spedding, Ltd., has a capacity of 725,000 foot of timber, and her cargo for Now Plymouth will comprise mostly Oregon pine, besides American oak, shingles, laths, etc. The vessel is expected to arrive here towards the end of September. The Taviuni is duo from southern ports to-day with about 600 tons of genearl cargo. The Corinna leaves Dunedin on Monday, 6th, for New Plymouth, via Oamaru Timaru, Lyttelton, Millington and Nelson. The Flora, which left this port last Saturday morning direct, for Grey mouth, is still unable to enter. At 1 p.m. yesterday there was still a heavy sea on the bar. The Kamona is loading at Newcastle for New Plymouth and Picton.
