Troops subsequently defeated the Wolves, who are now surrounded. BROKE THROUGH THE CORDON. (Received 11.3 a.m.) Pekin, June 4. White Wolf broke the Government cordon and looted and burned a village, including the 5 fission House, but the missionaries are safe. The army is attempting to bar the marauders’ march northwards. The White Wolves evaded the cordon by doubling back and breaking into small columns.
