BERNARD'S PICTURES. Many things combine to increase the interest in the long-promised production of “The Miracle” at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night and again to-morrow evening. The story is in itself one of supreme interest, which never flags for a moment, and keeps the attention of the audience absorbed throughout. The play is performed by an army of actors, and there are some extraordinary pictures of mediavel religious ceremonies, processions, and crowds. The nun’s adventures abroad are shown with quick movement, and are full of interest. The music for the story was specially composed by Humperdinck, the composer of “Hansel and Gretel,”’and is to bo interpreted ,by an augmented orchestra specially engaged for “The Miracle,” under the baton of the well-known and talented musician, Van Heck. Mr Maurice Ralph, representative of Mr Beaumont Smith, the holder of the Australasian rights of “The Miracle,” will superintend its production. A special performance will be given to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon, at two o’clock sharp, for country folks, and children will be admitted for sixpence.
