BERNARDS PICTURES.

In to-night's new programme, the principal drama "The Yellow Flame," is a story of a beset Indian dream by the new Bronco Co. The Vitagraph Coy of America, sire to the fore in the drama "The Doctors .Secret/' After making wonderful discoveries in regard to the cure of cancer. Dr.. Sergmann, who is suffering from heart disease, fears that he will not live to see the fruits of his invention. He wishes to leave the secret to his son, Hans, a hoy of six. whom lie hopes will he a doctor. He confides the general idea to his friend, Dr. Von. Mirtz, hut- does not tell him the details. Herginann has fallen asleep on the sofa before the fire. Von Mirtz enters the room, goes to the drawer, tithes out the papers and begins to make notes. Bergmann awakes, discovers him, and rushes at him. The excitement is too much for his heart, and he sinks to the floor as Von Mirtz thinks, dead. He steals the manuscript and goes for assistance. Bergmann revives, and has sufficient strength to write a few lines, which he encloses in a letter already written to his son, to be given to him when he comes of age. He then sinks back dead. Von. Mitt/, adopts Hans and brings him up as his own. By means of Borgmann's discovery. Von Mirtz wins fame and fortune, but is always haunted by remorse for his past. Hans becomes betrothed to Elsa on his 21st birthday. That night Oscar gives the letter which tells of Von Miit/.'s crime into Hans' hands. Von Mirtz overhears him read it, and begs for mercy. The shock of the discovery is too much for him and he expires. Hans realises that his highest duty is to the woman he is going to make his wife, and so resolves to bury for ever her father's secret. On Friday, the most expensive picture yet produced will bt> screened, entitled '•The Miracle." Special music has production.
