South Canterbury 100, Otago and Southland 300, total 2519 acres. 'Phis will bring the estimated total acreage in fiuit in New Zealand to 11,610 acres, an increase of 12,750 acres in six ycafs. Of this total increase Nelson district contributes over one-third. I]> to date the export of fruit from Xeu Zealand is in the neighbourhood of 85.000 cases, and it is estimated that the 100,000 mark will ho reached before the close of the season.
