CHINESE COOK FINED.
DEFRAUDING THE CUSTOMS. [Per Press Association.] Auckland, May 17. A Chinese cook from the steamer Borderer, charged with being in possession of dutiable goods concealed upon the vessel, was fined £25. The goods discovered by the Customs officials were tobacco and opium.
