SOME REBEL SUCCESSES. "KNOCKING AT THE GATES'." [By Eleotbio Telegbaph—Copybight! [United Prkbb Association.] Mexico City, May 17. The rebels cut off the water supply of Matazalan. There are unconfirmed reports that both Matazalan and Tuxpan were captured. General O'Briegon is marching rapidly southward, and it is only a matter of time until he will be knocking at the gates of the capital. Huerta has agreed to search for the whereabouts of Private Parks (the insane soldier), who was alleged to have been shot by the Mexicans. AEROPLANE V. GUNBOAT. Mexico City, May 17. A Constitutionalist aeroplane attacked the Federal gunboat Morelos, dropping bombs, which fired the ship, ripped the bridge away, killed the riflemen, and silenced the gunners. The Morelos was compelled to steam to sea.
ANOTHER FLAG INCIDENT. Washintgon, May 17. The Italian Ambassador complained that two American seamen at Philadelphia City tore ' down the Italian flag outside a barber's shop during the memorial services for the Americans killed in Mexico, and trampled it in the mud. Mr Bryan promised that, if guilty, the seamen would be promptly punished. It is understood that the seamen mistook the flag for the Mexican flag. THE HUERTAN DELEGATES. EN ROUTE FOR NIAGARA FALLS. (Received 9.30 a.m.) Washington, May 17. The Huertan delegates have arrived en route to Niagara Falls and are the guests of the Spanish Embassy. ORDER RESTORED AT TAMPICO. PAPERMAN'S EXPERIENCES. Mexico City, May 17. The Constitutionalists restored order at Tampico, and visits were exchanged with the British Admiral. After three times being arrested as an American spy, Huerfles, representative of the London Daily Express, was expelled, and arrived at Vera Cruz with other refugees.
