WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: "Westerly strong winds to gale and veering by west to south. The weather wflf probably prove very boisterous. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers flooded. Barometer falling, but rising after about 36 hours. -
