THANKSGIVING SERVICES. [lr Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.8 a.m.) London, May 10. Forty thousand people attended special services in the churches of the United Kingdom to-day of thanksgiving for the hlessing of sight, and asking for divine aid for the blind. The collection will he devoted to the fund of £13,000 being appealed for by the Mansion House on behalf of the National Institute for the Blind, for the purpose of cheapening and amplifying Braille literature.
