THE NEW HEBRIDES.
PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY MOTION. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, May 8. The Rev. J. H. McGowan launched a scathing indictment of the New Hebrides conditions at the Presbyterian Assembly, declaring that the condominium had done infinite damage to the credit of England and France. A motion was passed heartily endorsing the proposal for the Commonwealth purchase of French rights.
