POLICE MAKE A HAUL.
WINE ON THE CUMFIELDS. [Feu Press Association.] * Auckland, May 7. Th© police to-day visited the Waitnkero ranges, twenty miles from the City and raided the house of a man suspected of selling wine to gum-dig-gers. In a shod they discovered 250 gallons of wine, which they carted to the railway station, where the cases filled a truck. Metcalf, the owner will bo charged with selling liquor without a license.
