WORRALL, THE WOBBLER.

OUR MILITARY SERVICE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] London, May 7. The Hon. Thomas Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, in a long letter, refutes an article by Worrall, a New Zealander, in the Daily News, alleging ill-treatment in connection with compulsory military service. Ho says that “Worrall apparently wished to convey the impression that his son was treated like Dreyfus, imprisoned on a lonely island fortress far away from civilisation, whereas the island is situated in Lyttelton harbor. The bulk of the socalled objectors are entirely unfit for our vigorous country.”
