ROOSEVELT'S EXPEDSTION.
INTERESTING RESULTS.
[By Eleotbio Telegbaph—Copybightl [United Fbkss Association.) Received 8.5 a.m.) London, May 6. Advices from Manos in Brazil state that Roosevelt's expedition collected 2100, natural history specimens, many being unknown. New rivers, 1000 miles long were discovered in the upper portion. These were hitherto unknown, although the mouth was known to a few rubberhunters, and are largely unnavigable owing to the rapids. The party spent sixty days in canoos, averaging two miles daily. One man was drowned in the rapids. Mr Roosevelt and his son Kermit had a narrow escape. Another member went mad, murdered his and fled into the wilderness.
