HOME RULE FOR IRELAND.

Mr Asquith, in reply to Lord Robert Cecil, said he was taking steps which seemed most likely to conduce to a possible settlement of the Homo Rule question. Mr Asquith’s resolution to prevent the blocking of business was unanimously agreed to. ADVICE TO THE VOLUNTEERS. London, May 4. General Sir George Richardson, in presenting the colors to the West Belfast Regiment of Ulster Volunteers, said: “Do not think your work is done, and relax your efforts. It is always the/ unexpected that happens. Exercise the greatest discretion in your dealings with your follow countrymen, and avoid aggressive action.”
