ANOTHER PICTURE CUT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.] (Received 9.10 a.m.), London, May 4. Suffragettes burned the Cavehill bowls and tennis pavilion at Belfast. An elderly suffragette with a chopper slashed in three places Sargent's partrait of Henry James, on© of the most notable pictures in the Academy. She was arrested. DAMAGE £2OO. (Received 11.30 a.m.) London, May 4. The damage to the picture is estimated at £2OO. Mary Wood was the perpetrator. She was committed for trial.
