TAXATION READJUSTMENT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright i [United Press Association.] (Received 10.55 a.m.) London, May 4. In the Budget the estimated revenue is set down as £200,655,000 and tiio expenditure at £205,985,000. Another four millions is required to assist local authorities. It is proposed to raise nine millions by an additional tax on incomes over £IOOO, ranging from tenpenco halfpenny to sixteen pence up to £3OOO, while the supertax limit is lowered to £3OOO. These readjustments will yield five and a quarter millions, and the supertax two and a half millions. The death duties increased on estates of over £60,000, yielding £600,000. On capital invested abroad there will bo a tax yielding a quarter of a million. The balance of the deficit will be taken from the sinking fund.
