The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:
The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but south-easterly moderate winds prevailing. There is a prospect of fine weather. Days bright and nights cold. Tim barometer has a rising tendency.
