MANAWATU RACES. [Pbb Press Association.] Palmerston N., April 30. There is lovely weatiier for the second day of the Manawatu autumn meeting, and the going is good. Results : Kairanga Hurdles, of loOsovs., one mils and three-quarters.—Aruake 1, Huia 2, Jackman 3. Also started: Kauroa and Advancement. Won by two lengths, three lengths beteween second and third. Time, 3min 25 l-ssec. Stoneyhursfc Welter, of loOsovs., seven furlongs.—Manitau 1, Smilax 2, Alecto 3. Scratched: Wild Lupin and Tetikura. Won by half a length, a length between second and third. Time, lmin 31 1-osec. Cloverlea Hack, of 120sovs., five furlongs.—Tyson 1, General Madero 2, Conziska 3. All sarted. Won by a length, half a length between second and third. As the result of the running in Liuton Hack Welter "yesterday Chassis, the tvainer (T. Wilson), and the jockey (T. George) were disqualified for six months.
