ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A SAD CASE. [Per Press Association.] Gisborne, April 21. At the inquest on Edwin Whaite who was killed on the railway, a verdict was returned that deceased was accidentally run over by a train, and that no blame was attachable to anyone. Much sympathy is being manifested for the seven young orphan children, and over £IOO was subscribed yesterday in the Otoko district.
