Wit]) regard to the finances, the work of the ladies. to tvhose efforts the very satisfactory state of the funds was due, was gratefully acknowledged, especial praise being accorded to the parishioners of Toko road and Toko for their annual subscriptions, amounting to £Bo out of the £4O contributed by those districts. The receipts showed that receipts (offertories £275 19s (3d) totalled i.'si9 9s lid. The expenditure amounted to £593 os lid, including a debit balance of £SO Gs 9d from the previous year. The liabilities totalled £9171 Is and the assets £1092. The report and balance-sheet were tidopted. The following officers were appointed;—Vestry, Messrs Ewan Jackson, T. Partridge, A. Middleton, E. H. ivivell, A. Grant, G. W. Mills, A. D. Stanley, Mansell, Copestake, W. J. I Rogers, J. Hobbs, and W. H. H. Young. Vicar's warden, Mr A. C. Bel] (re-appointed); people's warden, Mr \Y. H. H. Young. At a meeting of the vestry held subsequently, Mr A. D. Stanley was re-appointed secretary.
