Huerta offered to apologise and salute the American flag as required if the American warships acknowledged the salute. Mr Byran described the situation as very encouraging and from this it is gathered that the American Government are likely to accept this solution. BATTLE OF SAN PEDRO. RAGED FOR FOUR DAYS. THE VICTORY TO VILLA. (Received 10.55 a.m.) Mexico City, April 16. The Federal losses around San Pedro total 2500. A terrific battle was raging for four days, when unaccountable supports reached yilla and the Federals retired in disorder, leaving hundreds of dead.
