Sir Edward Gallon, in an address to the Antrim volutneers, said that as long as a man of them was left they would never submit to have their rights taken away. The British Socialist Conference passed a resolution condemning the hypocrisy of Liberal place-holders and place-hunters in attempting to exploit the Ulster crisis by raising a bogus cry of “the Army Versus the people.”
