WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows; The indications are for . westerly winds strong to gale, and veering by west to south. The weather will probably prove wild and stormy. Weather cloudy to overcast. Heavy rain is to he expected with rivers flooded. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer unsteady, but rising after about 16 hours.
