RANDWICK NOTES. Randwick, April 9. There is a slight fog. Boniform ran nine furlongs in 2.5]. Lily well, from an almost standing start, ran a mile in 1.43], beating Silver Lad by several lengths.. Beau Soult ran a mile in 1.44. The Christian Brother, assisted by Cauaque, ran ten furlongs in 2.14 3-5. Border King galloped seven furlongs in 1.30]. Aleconer sprinted six furlongs in 1.17. Sinapis beat Wallalo by ten lengths in a ten furlong gallop in 2.1-5. Lochano beat Gillambi over seven furlongs in 1.30. Radnor and Bon Ton, in a ten-furlong gallop, finished together, taking 2.13. Bera- . goon beat Matouree easily over ten furlongs in 2.14]. Alured sprinted half-a-mile. in oOf. Sister Radius flietted over six furlongs in 1.25. Owen Roe beat lowitt by several lengths over a mile in 1.44]. Golden Hop and Belara beat Rathlea over six furlongs in P.I6J. Audacity galloped ten furlongs in 2.14. :North East did strong work. Cagou beat Odic over a mile in 1.45]. Sir Vive covered ten furlongs in-2.14]. Audelosia, who is sore, went three times round on the tan. Cider sprinted six furlongs in 1.16. Midnight Sun galloped ten furlongs in 2.15.
A Sydney cablegram states that the weather is fine for the races. Mr C. W. Williams’ Glenfern and Mr S. Pitt’s Martingale went through to Feilding by the 10 o’clock train toTaranaki’s contingent is well split np this year for the Easter racing. Bereola,-* Crown Pearl, Royal Arms, Patronale, and Cheddar are at Ellerslie to-dav, and there is more than one of them Veil fancied. At Feilding the upholding of the racing honors for the district will devolve . upon Glenfern and Martingale. P. Johnston has his team, including the "brilliant Ratana, at Tauherenikau, whilst J. Fryer has that brilliant hurdler Cornelian engaged at Ricoarton. Royal Dragoon, it is understood, is on the West Coast.
