riccarton training notes. [Per Press Association.] -■ Riccarton, April 8. Ayres with Ladoga, Kemp with Kooya, Copestake with Cornelian, arrived to-day. There was a quiet morning at the track, most of the work being done on the plough, which was in good order. Historiette, Recontre, Fastradi, and Camillas went, five furlongs in Imin 71-sec. Renaldo did a circuit at three-quarter pace. Masterpiece and Autumnus separately went once round at hqlf pace. Marcaline beat Merry Guet over four furlongs in 53sec. Expect and Pariform, at medium pace, accomplished a circuit, finishing together. Bronze easily defeated Sea Pink over a mile and a-quarter in 2min 20 2-ssec: the first half-mile was left behnd in 5-tsec, and the’first six furlongs in Imin 22 2-ssec. Kilmeny was schooled over five ‘flights of hurdles, and gave a good display.
