NEW ZEALAND CONCESSIONS. JBt Elbotbio Telbguaph—Copyright i [United Press Association.] (Received 10.50 a.m.) London, April 7. At the Pacific Cable Board, Mr Matthew Nathan moved to rescind the concession on the New Zealand cable rales. Mr Mackenzie moved an amendment that the whole question of Australasian rates he referred to committee, in order, if possible, to make further reductions. Mr Mackenzie pointed out that where reductions were made they had been compensated for by an increase in revenue. He mentioned the inci easing reserves of the Board, and stated that the contributions of the Imperial and Dominions’ Parliaments were £55,000 in a decade. The amendment was carried.
