Dr. Pickerill and Mr T. A. Hunter have left Dunedin to attend the International Dental Congress which nil! he held in London in a few months’ time. They have been officially appointed to represent the New Zealand Dental Association at the congress.

Mr A. Patrick, who has been on Mr Newton King’s Stratford staff for about two years, was presented last night by the staff with a handsome silver tea in view of his approaching marriage. Mr Abraham, manager, made the presentation, about thirty of the staff being present. Mr Patrick leaves for Wanganui on his honeymoon to-morrow.
