OLD OR NEW.

[To Tni' Editor Stratford Post.l Sir, —After tho very full public statements of the position as regards the East Riding of tho Stratford County which Messrs Were and Walter made, I have no doubt that they will bo again returned to represent that Riding. Elections _ are, however, apt to give surprises, and I would strongly urge all Messrs M ere and Walter’s supporters to record their votes, in case of accidents. I would further ask even those who might not quite approve of the old members’ action, to pause and think whether they consider their interests would bo as safe or as well looked after if Messrs Were and Walter were turned down in favor of the two other candidates nominated. —I am, etc., OLD SETTLER.
