ROCHETTE COMMISSION.
»—J—VERY NEAR CORRUPTION. [By Electric Telegbaph—Copybight [United Pbesb Association.] Paris, April 2. The Rochette Commission mildly censures MM. Monis and Caillaux. It exonerates them from charges of corruption, but says they were guilty of a deplorable use of their influence. The evidence reveals that finance is exercising an unjustifiable influence with the Government. The committee was unable to understand M. Barthou's right to regard the Fabre documents as his personal property, or how « transcription of the document came into M. Calmette's possession.
