prepared to go further in the matter ...through the press. However, as he -/has given an assurance that he in- ■, tends to criticise my actions as Mayor from, the public platform I will refrain from any comment on his letter, and at an appropriate opportunity I will deal further with the matter per medium of the same method as .fr King proposes to adopt.—l am, ■,etc., -
