AUSTRALIA V. NEW ZEALAND.

The final test match was continued at Eden Park yesterday, in beautiful weather. There was a large attendance in the afternoon, and £212 was taken at the gates. The Australians stopped in all day, and at the close had lost five wickets for 472 runs. The batsmen gave a very bright exhibition. New Zealand wore unfortunate in losing Bennett, who hurt his hand badly before lunch, and took no further part in the game. During , the luncheon adjournment the visitors made many complimentary references to the work of Mr F. C. Raphael, secretary of the New Zealand Council, and the hospitable manner in which he had treated them. Mr Raphael was presented with a rose bowl, engraved with the signatures of the whole team.
