A VICTORY FOR VILLA.
TORREON HAS NOT FALLEN. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! [United Press Association.! Mexico City, March 2S. General Villa's victory around Torieon is now admitted. Though the city has not fallen, Villa announces that he expects to capture it within a couple of days. Four days' fighting in the neighbourhood of the suburban district of Gomez Palacia was the fiercest in the history of Mexico. After a series of assaults, involving heavy losses on both sides, the Federals withdrew inside Torreon.
Heat, hunger and thirst caused many deaths amongst the wounded Constitutionalists, but Villa's soldiers wsoh aedovermlll a s'Rni VanlT-. ? showed marvellous spirit.
