FURTHER RESULTS.
The trials were continued to-day at Te AVera, and the results to date are as follows :
Class ll.—Head, Pull, Drive, and Yard—About 300yds. Time, 12 minutes. Points: Heading, 8; pull, 7; hurdles, o; style, 6; yard, 4; command 10. First prize £5, second £2 10s, third £l. fourth 10s. :.-i Tocker’s Chum ... ... 1 1C McMullin’s Fly 2 AV. McCormick’s Storm and J. Robertson's Solo (equal) ... 3 CLASS lll.—Huqfcaway between Flags—About a quarter of a mile on a zig-zag course. Time 10 minutes. Points; Huntaway 9, style 5, noise 9, command 12. AV. McCormick’s Laddie ... 1 A. J. Corrigan’s Fly ... 2 R. McMullen’s Nap ... 3 J. Robertson’s Reil ... 4 SPECIAL PRIZES. The Club’s Silver Cup for dog scoring most points in classes 1 and 2, to be won twice in succession with one dog, or three times at intervals with different dogs, was won* by Mr F. Cleland’s Floss. Mr J. B. Hine’s Gold Medal for man scoring most points in classes 1 and 2, who has never won a first, second or third at any trial, was won by Mr K. Summerhaves.
The Stratford Auctioneers’ Special prize of Silver Cup for dog scoring highest points, to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals, fell to Mr V. Nolan's Floss.
