WHARF LABORER’S DEATH.

[William’, ,H. Geary, a wharf laborer, wko resided at 21, Cumberland Place (.lied at the hospital to-day as a result of injuries received on Saturday week, when, whilst in the act of climbing into an express in the street, he,slipped and fell on his head, sustaining concussion of the brain.
A FATAL FALL,
Invercargill,. March 22
Alfred Michael Hannan, a single man, aged 28 years, a carpenter, fell from the roof of the new goods sued on Saturday, a distance of 25ft. through the skylight, and broke his log and arm. He sustained severe injuries to his skull, and was removed to the hospital. He never regained consciousness,., and died last night. '
BOY KILLED BY MOTOR-CAR.
Wanganui, March 22
A six-year-old boy, named Leslie Gosnell, was run. over by a motor car yesterday, and died in the hospital this morning.
A FALL OVER THE CLIFFS.
Auckland, March 22
The body of a man about 40 years old was found this morning at the foot of the cliffs'at Orakei. Death was evidently due to a fall from the top of the cliffs., a distance of about 30ft, on to the rocks below. Deceased’s identity is unknown.
