Two Men Shot
TRAGEDY IN BRISBANE.
A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.] (Received 9.40 a.m.) Brisbane, March 20. A mysterious tragedy occurred at a boarding house in Sydney Street. Two new arrivals, Arthur Dickenson and A. C. Murdoch, were fatally shot. Another boarder was talking to Dickenson on the verandah and noticed blood on his neck. Then he saw Murdock at the other end of the ver andali loading a gun. He proceeded to inform the police when he heard the report of a gun, and Murdock was found shot in the face. Both men are dead. No reason was discovered for the crime. Dickenson arrived from England a week ago. Murdock had been in the house two days, and as far as is known, the two had not spoken to each other.
