NEW CHARGES FORMULATED.

Before the Murray Inquiry Committee, charges were formulated containing new matter, accusing him* of attempting to get a contract rectified in tho House, of Commons without a real discussion, to prevent his dealings in charges being'disclosed. Mr Shearman, counsel ' for Lord Murray, complained that tho charge was incomprehensible and inadinissable.
Lord Halsbury stated that the committee would investigate only tin charge where Lord Murray wag personally concerned.
Mr W. IJpjohn, K.C., on behalf of the Morning Post, contended that Lord Murray took advantage of information received from Godfrey Isaacs and translated it into a cash equivalent.
