The Xew Zealand Loan and Men-, cantile Agency Co., Ltd., have re- j ceived the following cablegram from j their London house under date 11th j March, 1914 Wheat.—We have sol clan Australian | parcel at 36s 3d c.i.f. The market! firm but inactive, and the outlook is j uncertain.
Oats. There is a restricted demand. Cartons 21s, Sparrocvlhlls 20s 6d. We quote per quarter c.i.f. New Zealand Wheat: Longberried 34s 6d, Shortberried 345.

REPORT.
On the 11th inst. we held our usual weekly sale in our Inglewood yards, and had a fair entry of cattle and sheep, most of which we disposed of at satisfactory prices. We> quote—--18 months steers £2 17s to £3 3s, 18 Sionths heifers £2 3s to £2 7s, store ■ows £2 5s to £3 Us, forward do. £4 3s to £5 Is, springing heifers £5 10s, weaners 10s to 395, bulls £3 3s to £6 4s, f.m. ewes 9s Bcl to 10s 4d, lambs 3s 3d, mixed sheep 11s 2d.
On the 9th inst. we held our supplementary sheep fair in our Matau jrards, and had a fair yarding of sheep and cattle. Practically all the stock vere disposed of at the hammer at the following prices:—F.m. ewes 6s, Bs, 8s 3d, 9s 7d, to 10s 6d, small wethers Us Bd, woolly lambs 10s 3d, others (shorn) 5s 3d to 8s sd, 20 month steers, 03 16s, 23 year do. £4 19s, store cows ■S3 18s tq £4 4s, in calf heifers £3. On the 12th inst eve held our suppleneutary sheep and cattle sale in our I’arata yards, when we had a good r arding of stock, and practically everything yarded was sold at the following >ricesF.m. ewes 7s 7d to 12s 2d, ithers 6s 6d to 7s, lambs 4s l sd, 4s lOd, 6s Id to 7s, 2 and 4 tooth wetliirs 16s 6d, 2 tooth ewes 14s 3d to 15s Id, rams 16s to £2 2s, IS month steers 33 Is 6d, fat cow £5 13s, empty heifers £2 Us 6d.
