FATAL FALL FROM A TROLLEY.

[Pile Press Association.] Westport, March 13

A lad named W. Hansen died at Birchfield to-day as the result of injuries caused by a fall from a trolley used in connection with a flaxmill. Deceased was the son of the manager of the mill.

DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC.

The death occurred at the New Plymouth Hospital yesterday morning, of Sydney Leary, of Leach Street, New Plymouth, caroenter. Deceased, who was only 29 years of age, was undergoing a trepanning operation, and expired while under the anaesthetic.
